Looks great! The beauty of the Heuer Carrera 160 Silver (2447S) is that it can be very versatile, depending on the strap color & design, and you can share it also with the missus That’s the ultimate versatility!
Having it makes me wonder why Tag didn’t keep this watch design going as a limited heritage type release. It is a perfect size all around and the water resistance is great for a chronograph. In this iteration it feels similar in use to my Explorer. It can be dressed up and down, goes with any colour outfit and just about any situation - very versatile
Although I’d agree with you on the versatility of the Explorer II. The Carrera ups the notch when it’s time to be more elegant and formal I’d still pick the Carrera any day (sorry for being biased )
I agree with you that the Carrera has one over the Explorer on elegance and formal. I was trying to come across/express this could be Tags competitor to the Explorer. It is such a classic timeless design just as the Explorer. I hope they keep more coming. This Carrera could be a great one watch collection with a nice selection of straps. It gets the most wrist time in my collection and the most “wow, that’s nice” reactions from others. My CV2113 made me a TH fan, the 160th made me a fanatic. I am looking forward to the new releases from Tag next year
Today's Delivery New Old Stock Stopwatch This is the best condition one I have in my collection. Very happy with this find.
Welcome to the TH “fanatic” club sir Met here some of the most ardent TH diehard enthusiasts around the world with very tasteful and awesome TAG Heuer collection I’m glad to be part of Calibre11 to share my passion and call most of you here as my Calibre11 friends
One day I’d be asking you to sell me atleast one of your Heuer stopwatches sir A TAG Heuer collection won’t simply be complete without a single stopwatch Cool collection sir @Anthony.R
Wow What a lovely offer! Thank you sir! Once pandemic is over, I hope I can visit you down under! Been to Australia 3x before (Brisbane and Melbourne 2x) Such a lovely and beautiful country sir
That would be awesome Kappa. Would love to meet you here in Melbourne. Will send you a message to get your postage info.
Today on a dark brown Delugs matte alligator strap. The slight lighter stitching makes the cream accents on the dial pop!
That's a great shot, if Bamford could make me one without the fauxtina I might even join the club - Not really, but it's an excellent photo.
