Nice pics. I think #2 represents it best.
Yup agree. I really love when Im able to capture the "structure" sunburst thingy of the dial. It is sooo amazing irl but hard to get in photos. Photo number 5 is not super sharp but at least it really shows this effect well.

TAG do fantastic sunburst dials. The JH80th I had, and the Telemeter as well were both absolutely superb, and this watch is no exception.

I wish for one thing with this watch - that they had used standard white/green lume instead of the vintage beige (which almost looks salmon in some lights).

Other than that, I think I agree with you, it's pretty perfect.

Can you really call a 39mm watch 'King' though? Prince maybe...

You know that photo is a typical example of everytime I see these I fall straight back in love with the Aquaracer and think 'f蠀ck it, so be it if it is guaranteed to break after 25 months, its too sexy to pass up on'

馃榿 Poor Calibre 5 馃槵

You are always attacking it, but I鈥檓 really happy with my Carrera Calibre 5 Modular 45: it has been always consistently between +5 and +5.8s/day, and I have no issues with manual winding, because when I鈥檓 not wearing it, it鈥檚 on the watch winder... 馃榾

So, some photos to vindicate it 馃槈

Its good you love it Albert 馃憤 I have a feeling one day I will get the calibre 5 syndrome myself 馃榿

It feels like all issues you read about are with the Aquaracer. But that might just be because they sell a toooon of them so likelihood of issues is higher than for the F1, Link and Carrera cal 5's.

Or does it get some respect?
I dont think the cal 16 has the same track record of issuses with the crown and winding
