Yup, the prices are so crazy high! Knowing it’s the same movement and package from my Carrera Telemeter but just with a different color. It will probably be my TOTGA watches haha LOL But I’m still happy even without it 😉

One sold for $25k at auction last week. 😲

That's ridiculous - surely must be an outlier. The one I want is the Rake Blue Dreamer. There's one being advertised on WUS for $US9000 but it hasn't sold quickly. I would be tempted to put in a cheeky offer if it wasn't in the US (additional taxes would cripple any deal). But I wish sellers would get real with their pricing - not much is priced to move these days.

I didn't have to cut anything. The strap was already fine for my wrist as it arrived 😀

It does look if has been trimmed, I don’t remember the wife’s watch straps having a hole in the end section?

Yes, if not a true NOS (because it has been cut), it looks like never worn... well, it has 11 hours on the wrist now 😁 😉 👍

Perhaps the original owner cut it too short, put it back in the box and never wore it again? 😀

Yes, or perhaps it was a gift, he adjusted the strap, but he never wore it because he didn't like it! 😁

In any case, it’s certainly strange that a watch like this is stored unworn for more than 30 years! 😵‍💫

But putting on a new strap is not expensive enough to leave the watch unused for decades 😕
