Yes, the Globetrotters project is go! I've been involved in the Sydney exhibition and will be there for the launch on the 15th of September. Some cool watches on show, so if you live near one of the 10 boutiques, it's certainly worth checking out.

P pjs525Hi Calibre11,
I rang the Tag Heuer boutique in Sydney to get some information on the Exhibition on the 15th of September but they don't answer the phone and I haven't yet had a reply to the message I left. Do you know the timing of the Exhibition, when it starts, how long will it go for, is it by invitation only? I would like to go but I am just not quite sure of the timing - any help would greatly appreciated.
Phil

Thanks! Yes, I've considered the Logines a few times, but there are too many other watches ahead on my list. 🙁
Yeah i visited Longines AD many times. i like this one so much but they said they dont import it here where i live. Too bad.
They're currently running about US $2500 on grey-market sites. You can have both the black dial and the white dial for less than you're about to pay for that 56th edition of the Gulf Monaco....
Very true, but unfortunately the Gulf Monaco is already paid for and I already have a commitment for 3 other watches within now and December. 🙁
It's raining watch 😎 !
Launch is here in Dubai on the 14th.
I'm a tiny bit excited to be involved in the project here and will have my 5 Heuers on show.....which are not quite up to the level of some other collectors involved, but as we're covering diving and sailing I can get away with my "cheap" divers 😉
Good point. I hadn't seen that

.....and there's far more info on that thread than anything else I've seen on the interweb.
Good point. The publicity of this has been a bit sporadic/incomplete in my opinion, here is a link with some more info-hopefully I'm allowed to link to this-

Cities involved are
Paris – the classic Heuers; Geneva – the major inventions; Munich – the military watches; Venice – cars and timekeeping; Dubai – sailing and diving; Hong Kong – cars and drivers; Sydney – multisports, Tokyo – design through history; Singapore – Formula 1.
It was to be Miami too but that was sadly (but understandably) cancelled due to Irma. No, London was not on the board very unfortunately (and somewhat surprisingly)......
