I must admit I don't keep up with the Invicta catalogue so I have no idea
Well - the point is: TH has now priced the Monaco out of the reach of many watch enthusiasts.
“La nature a peur du vide”… So, obviously, that wide open space for square sport watches is going to attract new entrants (more or less “inspired’ ones at that).
Coming out of France, you also have the rather pleasant square Cap Camarat by Herbelin (currently only as a 3-handed).

From a quality perspective, there’s no doubt in my mind that Union Glashütte builds watches that are just as good as THs. And I suppose their price will be well below 4k.
So yeah - brilliant move to make the standard Monaco a 7-8k watch 👍 At the old price of 4k-ish for a McQueen or Gulf, potential clients for a square watch would have probably not even thought about NOT getting the “original”…
