Hi there purchased this early aquaracer with light blue dial iv been after for a while , iv owned the darker blue version before and you see them for sale but not the lighter blue. Can’t find out much about them doing the two colours online so was wondering if anyone could shed some light as to weather my watch is rare or not
Any info grateful received Mike

Hi Mike
I'm not sure about the watch as a whole, but there's something very off about that dial. I don't think they made a light blue one and they certainly wouldn't have made a light blue with the same part number. It's also missing the 'professional' or 'aquaracer' text at the bottom. So either it's a fake watch or a real watch with a fake dial... the fact that you owned a WAB Aquaracer before suggests you would know if the rest of the watch felt right?

Thanks for your reply the reason I’m confused is that a friend of my fathers bought the same watch with the very pale blue dial and still has it , it’s one of the reasons iv been looking out for the same watch having previously owned the darker blue more common wab 1120 aquaracer in past. So I know they must of made the lighter blue but can’t find any info on them from original old listings when that model first came out ? If anyone finds any info it would be gratefully received thanks Mike
