Has anyone ever come across a Tag Heuer 6000, all stainless steel with a merlot-colored dial? I just picked one up. It is a limited series of 600 pieces. I believe it was a limited edition only released in the Asian market. Does anyone know more details about this mode?

Yes, that is the exact model I was referring to. They also made a S/EL with the same merlot-colored dial, also a very rare one. Do you happen to know the model number for that one?

Not 100% sure, but I think they're Japanese market limited editions

Hello, I have one, and the model number is WH1118. It is a full size, men watch, as indicated by the numbers. I do not know the history, but it is limited to 600. Mine is 349 of 600. Since it is not a k1 or k2, I would have to assume it is an earlier model, but bracelet is held on by a spring and not screws, so not the earliest one. I did buy mine from a dealer in Japan, thus maybe it was limited to that market as stated above, but I have no idea. These Tag 6000 were sold world wide. Here are some pictures.

There was also a VERY RARE all stainless steel quartz 6000 with a shiny green dial, model WH1117, probably also only released in the Japanese market.

I would love to get a hold of one of these still!!

^ YES, that is exactly the type of dial I've been advocating that we need in a new Monaco!
