Selling my Heuer Autavia 1163 Viceroy.
An iconic watch with a great story, these are highly sought after, this specific version of the Autavia, the 1163V, first came out in 1972.
42 mm stainless steel case with really sharp lugs.
Serial is 358XXX 1970s (see image)
Minor surface scratches but the case condition overall is very good.
Dial and hands are in excellent original condition!!
The model for sale has the original and very scarce minute and hours bezel and as you can see this bezel also bears the distinguishing pip inside the polished triangle marker a feature normally reserved for the 1163. Original bezel insert has wear around the outer edge but could be easily restored or replaced with a service insert.
Acyrlic crystal has some scratches.
Service history is unknown but watch keeps good time, winds and runs correctly , with chronometer and reset/zero functions working.
Currently on a red NATO nylon strap.
Price is $3500 USD or €3100
