Will @TheorPhys and I 1) Be allowed to worship at the Alter of Ag with the Autavia panda 2) Must I too obtain a bracelet for his holiness to admit me to the Shrine of Sterling?
Being summoned by the pope of silver dial church himself to post my latest...silver dial... lol. Citizen Homer Date Circa 1960 - 198X This is the only watch in my collection that i repolished. Probably because i want that Grand Seiko perfection experience but with much more lower budget. Manual winding. Low beat (if my hearing is right). The movement is smooth AF but this probably my only manual winding watch that require lots and lots of turning before actually starting to sweep Cons: no quickset date. The crown is very small making it hard to grip. Not so ideal circumstances for manual winding. Love it. Don't regret pulling my trigger on this one.
Smooth hand winding movement and silver dial sounds like you hit the jackpot with this one Mr O! Congrats!
Not TH but given to me for my 50th by daughter, old but not bad condition. Dial better with some sunlight on it, no chance at the moment though.
Presumably you were still quite sprightly at 50 - hence being dubbed the "golden gazelle"? Great present, nice watch.
