Great stuff @flawless especially that second photo

Thanks - bought this in at work earlier today and really wish I'd taken a "before" photo. Disassembled it and re-brushed the case/bracelet, and gave the bezel a light polish (may revisit it). Very tempted to buy it myself, honestly, even though it's a sub-40mm quartz.

This is interesting. The lugs look a bit worn down to me, and the tachymeter track is missing (as declared in the ad), plus it could probably use a service. But otherwise it looks a really nice example. Great dial condition. It is tempting... What do others think?

Oooooooof super polished lugs. Yuck. And the chapter ring is missing (not a tachy on the Dato, just minutes / chrono seconds).

The dial's nice and all other parts are present, but the case is absolutely toast. A good candidate for a parts watch.

Shame as the dial is so nice imo. And hands look original too. Chapter ring could potentially be sourced I guess. But yes you're probably right about the lugs, there's not much of the angles left that I love so much about the Carrera case. Probably explains the price.

If only it had the chapter ring, I guess that's why the price is what it is. I could overlook the other negatives, but the missing chapter ring is a deal breaker for me.

And just received an offer for £2850! The seller obviously wants to shift this one.
