AD sent me a video of the Autavia today. Don’t care what anyone says, it has a lovely dial.

Not personally a Breitling Colt/Avenger fan, but a nice watch and definitely a statement - great first silver dial!

Congrats to a great f-in badass superb piece. Its an interesting Colt this one, very similar to the mighty Steelfish but rather than making this a SO they chose to release it under the Colt line. During a period where the line between SO and Colt wasn't as clear as today. Not only that, a Colt... gmt... at 500m wr! Lovely stuff from the days when Breitling had their peak

Thanks guys! This particular Breitling seemed to tick all of my boxes. I prefer a smaller watch, and this one is 40.5 mm. I think this watch is quite "understated" compared to the others in the brand. I also really like the "stratus silver" dial. I first saw this on the 2014 Colt automatic, and I really liked it. I had my eye on that watch for a while, but Breitling changed it, then discontinued the Colt altogether. My Colt GMT is an earlier model, but seems to have the same dial with respect to color and pattern. Plus, I didn't have a silver dial in my modest collection.

Looks like a fantastic book! But I don't remember receiving any royalty payments for reproduction of those photos? Lucky for Rob that I have had enough of dealing with my solicitors over the past few months 😜 Seriously, a lovely gesture. How does one get a copy?
