That's the ETA 251.252 movement, right? Do you know of a good source for these? Mine seems to be on its last legs, wouldn't mind getting a spare.
I bought the movement in Switzerland. I'll look out for it for you.

TAG Heuer currently has an Instagram Story showing the various TAG watches worn by Senna. (All of which I've previously identified in the Senna thread.) Also shown in this Instagram Post.

However, seems like they're rewriting history a little with this picture.

First thing that's wrong is it's the grey dial, hence the reference should be S25.206. The reference shown S25.706C is of course the cream dial on brown leather strap, but that's not what's pictured.

The second thing that's wrong is the S/EL ana-digi models weren't introduced until 1989, so he never wore them in '88. In fact, in every photo I've seen of him racing during the '88 season he's wearing either a Casio or a Seiko (which I also documented in the Senna thread).

TAG Heuer continue to incorrectly label Senna's Anthracite dial S25.206, calling it a S25.706C (Cream dial).

Regardless, TAG's recent Senna postings on social media lead me to wonder if we'll get a reissue or tribute of sorts this year 2025? Perhaps at LVMH watch week, which is coming soon.馃

If there is it will most likely be a 41mm Carrera day-date with a brown strap or some such nonsense.

Hmmm, I could see TAG doing a 39mm two tone glassbox with a cream dial, gold bezel (under the crystal) and brown strap. Maybe even craft some kind of gold "S" Link end-link for the strap. Would I buy one? Nope!

Would be my response to all those who like a dated ana dig two tone watch with a hideous leather/ metal bracelet.

TH would never re release this model, it鈥檚 too dated and niche with fans only being Senna fans.

Ana-dig watches are in a niche market of an already niche hobbie and typical tool watches especially dove watches in the last few years.

The market wouldn鈥檛 take this as a two tone watch, especially with that band.

Maybe a link reinterpretation would work.

Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that.

No I don't think they will rerelease the S/EL either and if they did it would be way too expensive, but Michael could be right about them making a mashed up glassbox thing... and calling it a 'tribute'.

It's kind of ironic that Senna wore what might be the most divisive design of the lot!

There are much simpler designs that probably have more universal appeal....?

No, that was the 'Link' version... if only the Bourne films had the lasting appeal of Bond, could have saved the Link.

Don't you love how TAG used to redesign dials but keep the same part number....
