i’ve come to the conclusion after trying out a couple of straps , that the original black one is the OG , was just wondering if anyone knows if that déployant clasp could be found in black ? i saw the one on the aquaracer night diver , but unfortunately that one is 18mm , as per my AD
the clasp width on the seafarer strap is 20mm

Working on getting a short video from workshop on how to remove this particular springbar. Ive been told the way the do it is with a very small flat head screwdriver type tool to slide the bar across from the open circular section. A conventional springbar tool will not be the easiest way ( as @abrod520 has shown us)

Hi Guys! Hello to my C11/THF good friends! I’ve missed joining the TAG Heuer discussion. 😀 It’s been a while since I last posted and I’m sorry I haven’t been active lately. Alot of things happening the past few months. 😲 But I’m very happy to share to the group my TAG Heuer Carrera Seafarer! I believe this is the ONLY 1 in the Philippines! (Number 654) I was able to source it through my local TH Boutique after much prodding and persuasion. 😉 I’ve used (and abused) my daily chronograph which is the TAG Heuer Carrera Skipper. 😜 and I’m glad it’s holding up quite nicely!

And now pairing it with my TAG Heuer Carrera Seafarer which i just got last night. Super excited! 😎
It really is a beauty, congrats. I love mine too, love the way it sparkles and pops which photos don’t really capture

Thank you sir @thingziliketoo , sir @SeaFarer , my favorite Heuer/TAG Heuer web writers-authors, esteemed sir Jeff and good friend sir Rob ! 😍

My initial thoughts with the Seafarer, is that it definitely wears heavier than the Skipper, and although it uses the rubber strap, the buckle mechanism is huge! I’m still adjusting to this new strap/buckle from TAG Heuer since it is fairly new. I really like wearing the Skipper and it definitely is a better daily. The Skipper is such a good watch and you can wear casual+shorts and still use it! I could probably use the Seafarer during evening events and social gatherings. Both are instantly recognizable watches even from afar. I’d probably reserve the Monaco during formal events (coat-tie / barong). 😎

I’ve gotten alot of attention and good compliments from watch guys and non-enthusiasts alike while using the Skipper and I’m sure this Seafarer will fare the same 😉

Allowed me to add at least 10 to my cart, but not sure if that many are actually available.

They have it on the UK website, it let me put 15 in the cart. Though I am uncertain why anyone would want to buy 15 of anything?

One has sold, nine are still available on TAG Heuer's US website if anyone is interested.

Might be shared stock there but out of stock in Netherlands and Switzerland, so that suggests it’s actually separate.
