Both! I flip. Buy and Sell馃憤
Looks fake. I'm not going to tell you why, with all your questions, I'm beginning to suspect you're trying to make a replica watch. 馃槣

I know the reason too. That鈥檚 why Im very thankful you posted the original case back. It should have serial number vertically. Im trying to buy this then sell but since Im not familiar with s25.706c, that is why I ask lots of questions about it. I got cg1123-0 in excellent condition. Gladly, you posted the case back of the s25.706c with vertical serial number馃檹 Thank you!

But the thing is, this photo you posted, it also has no vertical serial number. And that confuses me馃ぃ

Nope, the lack of a serial number is not the only reason it looks fake.

I purposely chose that photo because copying serial numbers is the kind of thing counterfeiters do. 馃槈

FFR, from my research 251.251 and 251.252 are the same movement. Everything I've come across refers to them interchangeably - 251.252 has a lot more references (maybe 251.251 was quickly replaced by 252, or possibly renamed?)
@flawless - Do you know if the ETA 251.265 will also work as a direct replacement for the 251.251/251.252?

I've seen the 251.265 listed as Ana-Digi replacements on ebay and they're considerably cheaper than the 251.252. But I'm skeptical as to whether it's exactly the same both in physical specs and function (i.e. 1/100th split seconds).

They're the same size movements, but functionally quite different. AFAIK, 265 is a chrono alarm with larger LCDs and only 3 central hands (hours/minutes/chrono seconds).

Thank you! I suspected they weren't the same, false information by some of these ebay sellers. 馃槨

Thanks for the useful information. I'm keeping my 265 for any useful parts. Is it true that the LCDs are the same size? I don't see any difference.

AFAIK, the 265 LCDs are about 5-10% larger. Without physically inspecting both side-by-side, that's all I can say.

So I was lucky that I had a fresh 252.
I will keep my old one for spare parts then.
Lcd鈥檚 are still working. Thanks for the info.

I did a bit of asking around, and I've been told that the .265 LCDs are the same as the .252/251 - part 9447 for both.

I still don't have any empirical evidence, as I've not seen them side-by-side or in-person to test - so I don't advise buying a .265 just yet.

Going to look in to spares via Omega as they had the 251.252 as Caliber 1670
