Hi All,

I’m fairy new to the forum and I’m in the process of doing a research paper on the combating the counterfeit TAG Heuer market and how authentic watches differ from counterfeits.

Does anyone know of any websites, books, or information where I get obtain images of TAG Heuer watches? I essentially want to build a database of what genuine TAG Heuer watch engraving s and “hallmarks” look like compared to counterfeits.

I am currently using WatchBase and Caliber Corner to obtain movement information, but any other links or assistance would be hugely apricated.

Also, happy to share my document once completed if anyone is interested

Thanks,

Kevin

I have had that same gut feeling with a few posts over the past few months.

Sounds like a counterfeiter's handbook

Counterfeiters seem to have got the hang of it with the WAY aquaracers

One problem you may not have considered and which I've encountered over the years, how do you know when you are looking at the real deal? I mean surely you can only take info in you know us legitimate in the first place... makes this incredibly difficult. Even TAG Heuers renders on their website don't always match the actual watches...
