Hi. First time here and looking for information!

I've been awaiting the launch for months and now it's here can't find answers to questions I have. Reviews and vids focus on the modular aspect rather than functionality. So...
1. Does the watch have a speaker for notification sounds?
2. Can you make and answer calls (yes I know that looks naff but it can be useful, particularly when driving or in the middle of doing something with the phone not to hand).
3. Does Wi-Fi automatically connect for notifications etc if the watch is out of Bluetooth range.
4. Battery life. Is it really as bad as many report and after the initial setting up and playing (which always drains battery) is a full working day and night achievable with moderate use.

I'm currently using the Samsung Gear S3 (Tizen O/S) and 4 days is easily obtainable without charge. Functionality is top drawer without lag so even though the Connecteds are streets ahead in design and looks I'm unsure of the performance. Don't want to be disappointed.

1. No speaker; just vibration.
2. Since it has not speaker... no.
3. It should.
4. From what I can see on mine, the battery meets advertised numbers, when it's not using the full display in a prolonged fashion, or downloading large amounts of data.

Thanks for the info. A bit disappointing and probably a show stopper for me. My Moto 360 had vibration only and it just wasn't strong enough. I can live with the battery - charging each night isn't a problem just means packing the charger for weekends away.
Two more questions if you don't mind. Is the strap a standard 22mm fitting. Is the Watchmaker app compatible with the watch. Can't see why it wouldn't be.
Thanks again.

The watchmaker app has done my head in. Have the app on iPad, android tablet and watch and still can't get a face over.

Is that installed via Watchmaker?

Smaller, women-friendly Tag Heuer Connected Modular is coming in October
https://www.wareable.com/smartwatches/tag-connected-modular-womens-8887
A 39.45mm, unisex Tag Heuer Connected Modular smartwatch is set to launch in October 2017. So says Jean-Claude Biver, Tag Heuer's CEO, cheese lover and gift to humanity, who confirmed the watch in a Q&A following the main crossbow-and-cheese packed event in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
...
"In addition, the new series will feature a smaller watch for women and the Asian market and a larger one than ever before. We will also offer different colors and materials."

Smaller one makes a lot of sense...but a larger one? I guess that would be 48mm?? That seems way too big
I am also a bit skeptical about the larger one.

Can't seem to find a decent review vid that focuses on functionality rather than the modular aspect. Link anyone?

Desperate to convince myself to get the Tag I've tried to rationalise the specification differences between it and my "perfect" Gear S3.
Anyone got anything to add (and/or correct).
