Got a surprise call 😲 and opportunity to see these in the metal today. 😀
It's a bit larger than I'd like for my wrist, but not overly huge. I suppose I could live with it. In pictures, the black dial photographs better to my eyes. But in real life, the white dial really spoke to me. Fortunately or unfortunately, they didn't have the white panda on a bracelet for sale. Otherwise I probably would've walked out with a new watch. 🙄
Just as well, since it gives me time to think about it more and see what else might be released this year.

I've heard that the black dial and black bezel combine to give the impression of a larger-wearing watch, whereas the white dial with black bezel looks a bit smaller on wrist.

As for size, 50mm lug to lug is my maximum limit and a bit bigger than I'm comfortable with tbh. Nice watches, though.

It was hard for me to compare the black vs. white size impression, because the white was on a NATO and had a very different feel. I didn't really care for this watch on the NATO, which is too thin for a thick watch. OTOH, I love the BB58 on a nice NATO.

If I'm honest with myself, the watch is a tad too big for my comfort zone as well. Nevertheless, it's currently at the top of my want list for this year.

If it feels too big now dont you think that would continue bugging you if you buy it? No matter how hard we love a watch its impossible, at least for me, to try and wish to forget or get over something that bothers me when wearing it.

You can get used to the size of a watch. But everyone has their own limits (in both directions).

I find it varies day to day and depending my outfit, most of the time my 41mm AR is the perfect size. Some days it's tiny.

Thanks for the feedback on the bb58. I love the colour and warmth (I hadn't realised that was what I was loving until mentioned above), I'm slightly worried it's a touch small at 39mm, but maybe the proportions are perfect so it doesn't matter?

Different steel colour for the BB and both chronos is surprising.
I've seen these chronos pass on IG a lot these last few days. They're good looking but I'm not sure about the size of the subdials. They seem a tad small to me. Too much open space. A Daytona style 3 6 9 would have been even better.

Whenever I see photos of them side by side, the steel on the white dial looks lighter (as it does to me in these pics). Same for the blue BB58, which was also mentioned in a video review by Bark & Jack. But the sales guy showing me the watches said the steel was the same on both BB58s, with the same part number for the bracelets. He also believes the steel is the same on the chronos. So I'm not 100% sure now. Agree with you about the sub-dials.

I find this pretty cool, looks just a bit off when the lights are on though. This would be great on their 3 hand version. I am sure we will see one in the future.
