Ahaa thanks man! I guess when trying to buy online on iwc.com I see "sold out" and this means that X number of the 222 available were sold out. If I interpret it correctly 222 are available today via multiple channels so we dont know exact number sold via iwc.com

Yeah, too rich for my blood as well, almost same price I paid for the WG Carrera 360.

Such poor communication. All the review sites claim it's a iwc.com exclusive. It was on there, then gone, then on again. From what I read on IG nearly impossible to buy as the shop kept crashing. Now it's sold out, apparently only at IWC.com but there's no mention to check out websites of partners that might have stock. Indeed in stock for next day delivery at WoS. 馃え

Maybe buy this one to ease the pain. Or will it make it worse by strenghtening the desire to own a IWC....

This is the only IWC on my wish list at the moment - Le Petit Prince. But I think it would end up fighting with my Explorer for wrist time so haven't seriously pursued it.

I know what you mean. But in terms of watchmaking, it's a simple and beautifully executed piece.

Pilots are blind remember. Pilot watches should be gigantic! But this type of gigantic still within limits of what I can wear. The standard production Top Gun chrono is 44,6 isch mm 馃う

That is what the Big Pilot range is for.
But the big pilot isnt something you can actually wear right? Unless you have 25 cm wrists 馃榿 didnt John Meyer say that the big pilot is perfect as a bed table clock. For me the dimensions of this new tribude to 3705 is within dimensions I could wear without it looking fully ridicilous.
