These are the mock-ups of @Trev and @Jakeys, aren't they not?

So this is how I quite confusingly discover there is a sister Tag Heuer forum, haha. I clicked on a notification in OF that I'd been tagged and was highly confused at first!

Yes apologies I couldn’t remember who created them on OF. But it popped up on my Insta this way and thought easier to screen grab.

Wasn’t trying to take credit

Yep looks like they came from Son of a Watch. To his credit, he did actually ask me for permission to share mine originally, which I was happy to as he gave credit to myself and the forum as the source. I assume he probably would have done the same for Trev.

Can’t wait to see the black one in the flesh.

Hearing a green variant due next month
It does have a simplistic beauty to it. Nicely done!

My NTTD (pictured below) is still my favorite Seamaster.

I suppose it's a compliment to its design that the 60th anniversary and this new black dial are patterned after it. But I wish they had done something different, like downsize the case of the black dial to 40mm or developed a new tapered "tank tracks" bracelet. As it stands, there's no reason for me to buy another Seamaster.

Your wish list seems to be what most folks were hoping for. Me included.

I can’t wait to try the black one on. Also heard a green variant on the cards for next month & either a white or blue next Jan.

I agree 40mm would’ve been perfect, as would a tapering bracelet - although I did hear that was still on the cards.

Watched a YouTube video by Adrian Barker on the new releases and the black is Omegas answer to the Monochrome BB41 which I didn’t think off before.

Taken a long time for Omega to produce an SMP no date, reckon the next generation could be worth waiting for.

I completely wrote off that guy's opinions as valid when he made the case that Omega isn't a luxury brand. But that Mono BB41 comparison is pretty spot on. The Omega's easily better, but that's to be expected with Tudor's lower positioning. In terms of what they're each trying to accomplish, it's the same goal.

I'm off to a cocktail reception this evening at New York's third (!) Omega Boutique, newly opened in Soho. Really looking forward to checking these out.

Before heading to Soho I stopped in for a special viewing ahead of these being auctioned. LOVE the blue against the white case.

Saw the new Seamasters. Like em but don’t need to buy either. The silver is definitely a super cool addition to the range.

This bronze gold CK859 with silver dial though… enchanting.

Honestly, if I saw that on eBay I would be laughing and saying 'that ain't gonna fool anyone!'
