I may have to try one on. Looks great in this pic (by @watchbie), but I doubt my wrist can pull it off.
If mine can, I very much think you’ll be fine. As Steve said, they wear much better than the stats would suggest. Definitely heavy and noticeable but a lot more comfortable than some 40-43s I’ve worn in the past.

Makes me wish that could produce a PO or Seamaster without the HEV and in 'wearable' size.

I know the purest enjoy the DNA of HEV, but as Dylan once sang 'the times they are a changin'

Very cool. I like the time only most. Wonder why it’s cheaper than the regular blue fxd.

MM Increase?

The colour scheme on the Red Bulls are nice although not a fan of the logo in the rehaut on boh

If only Omega released this - special edition made for the Swiss Army, I think it would sell very well

That blue dial looks lovely too. Very tempting indeed…if you can get hold of one…

After about 6 months they'll be fairly easy to find in stores. Tudor's pretty good at filling waitlists though so if you put your name down now it might only be a couple weeks / a month or two

I would probably be looking later in the year anyway, so might be ideal. Need to consider how it looks side on with the nato under the case first. Not a fan of it sitting too high.

Oh yeah! Now this is looking very promising!!!

Love the Pelagos and the FXD version. Big fan of Carbon and Ceramic cases with titanium alongside.

I like the chrono more than the diver - I think the pushers give it something different. I’m on the list anyway.

my only concern will be the thickness as it’s the same movement as the chrono which ain’t svelte - but it does look like this isn’t slab sided like the black bay which will help.

overall, pretty nice. I had a FXD on my wrist 2 weeks ago and really liked it, but given I own a titanium watch already I felt it was a little redundant. This, however, I think is different enough to justify.

Will be cool to see some pics on wrist, preferably side on, if and when you do get to see it.

Pelagos models are all cool, fair play.

If they decide to produce them in normal quantities. The original FXD seemed to be released in much smaller numbers, it took me 1 year to get the call from one AD and 1.5 years from a second AD. By then my interest had waned.

The original FXD is rather thin, at about 12.75mm, but the NATO strap is thick. Easy enough to fix with an aftermarket NATO. I don't care for the red of the RB version, the original would be my choice. I also prefer the original's connection to the Marine Nationale.

Cheers for the heads up on the timescales.

I do like the original MN version too. I think the new dial colour is better though.

Not sure how the blues of the dials might differ, the RB does look to be a slightly darker shade of blue. Another question is whether one prefers the black carbon case & black bezel of the RB vs. the all titanium & blue bezel of the MN.

Oh I know a bunch of guys (who aren't big shots) who put orders in shortly after release and had them in like a month tops. Might have to do with when you get your order in - if it's right after the big first wave it could take a bit longer I suppose

Or one's location perhaps. I got on the list a day after the FXD announcement. I was #4 on the list, still took a year. OTOH, the wait list time for the BB Chrono was about a week (after announcement) at the very same AD. Both my Tudor ADs told me they got very few FXDs in compared to other Tudors like the BB Chrono & BB Pro, which were also hot items.

It’s for sure the hardest to get of the tudors. My ad has had one in a year and they’ve got everything else in the window. I passed on the last one they had (aside from being titanium, the bezel didn’t line up properly which would have driven me mad).

In sone ways I wish I had got it as it’s a cracker. But I like this new one too and I suspect this will be a hard score too….

Glad I'm not the only one who's found the FXD MN tough to get ahold of.

However when the P39 was announced, that became a no brainer over the FXD for me given its bracelet and size. If it's ever released in blue, I'd be very tempted indeed.
