Over the time, do you still love the watch ? How's the wearability factor ? Do you wear often ?
Yes I still like it a lot. I'm not one for constant rotation so tend to wear one watch for longer periods of time. It's been in the box for a few months now, with only the odd outing, as my Carrera McLaren 1974 Edition has been getting much love.
The Pontos S was also my wedding gift so no matter how much or how little I wear it, it will never be sold.
Wow ! What an unusual choice of wedding gift. I know it might have been forever still, but congrats.
Maybe one-day TH would do it 馃榾
Given the level of individuality and customization of this artisan, projects like these would definitely go to outside companies specializing in individual bespoke projects.
That said, given the popularity of customization & personalization of luxury items, maybe one day we could see custom computer-based laser detailing and engraving produced in a larger scale.
I enjoyed the video. Although I have no idea who the protagonists were they were clearly having fun.
Like the engraving too in fact. Of course the owner could not dare wear it otherwise it would become more like this
OTOH, if you have the wherewithal to get it done once you can always have it done again.
Did the big guy with possibly a Brit accent buy the two Rolexes after his 24 hour research?
Did you see the video I posted it couple of nights ago about 2 Rolex watches ?
Just watched it. You asked if they are worth that much.... My experience is to distrust salesmen, especially on second hand items. So I would say: NO.
Tudor black bay chrono looked nice... But didn't like the needles. Chrono movement is smooth though
From what i know, if you buying the current tudor chrono it's mean you get the breitling movement. I tried it before, it was not bad. Would have consider getting one if i have extra budget.
