I was expecting watch 5 to be much more, but it's nevertheless a nice looking watch. 😀

In this ^ shot it looks great.

The subdials don't look as reflective as other pictures.

That said, for those who ordered one, I am sure the subdials will look much better under normal conditions. I suspect the reflections of the subdials in that photograph are being accentuated by store lighting.

I still like it quite a lot. I broadly prefer the loud colour palettes of the first three but this one stands head and shoulders about the 4th one for me. I’d be very happy if my name one was a list to get one 😀

If you look at the prices online - all 4 previous editions have been updated to that new price as well.... seems like they did a price adjustment across all of them without considering their release mechanism for these limited editions over time ?

Good old, "Rip-off Australia"!

This must have something to do with the exchange rate for AUD. The pricing remains unchanged in USD and most other currencies.
Yes, I did check the prices online...I think its just an AUD issue

Totally agree. As I mentioned in my write-up, I'd really want to see this one in person. I was tossing up between this watch and the red 50th Anniversary and chose the red because I was unsure whether I would like the sandblasted case finish and because I wasn't sure about how those silver dub-dials would look.

But I still really like this one..just wish those small details were different.

Long term lurker but first time post. I just took delivery of the Monaco 09-19. It’s a thing of beauty in ‘the flesh’. I’m very pleased with it. Even the wife loves it!

I managed to buy one from the tag website. I guess I got lucky. Logged in and it was available. Hovered over the check out button for a second or 6, but I’d have kicked myself if I hadn’t bought it.

I was 50 earlier in the year so a nice treat to myself. I’ll hopefully manage to pay off my credit card bill before I’m 51 😀

Also, @Clarkosetla what is your impression of the sandblasted case? That's something that doesn't come across to clearly in photos.

I’m not the greatest photographer guys but I hope this gives you an idea of the package I received today. I’ve just sorted the strap but it’s a bit tight as you can see in one of the photos. I’ll need to get used to it. No ‘flipping’ for me, this is a watch I intend wearing & enjoying.

I really like the sandblasted case. It’s difficult to photograph but it adds more darkness to the watch which really works for me. The watch screen overall is quite dark. Again this is a plus for me but it may not be to everyone’s taste.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Don’t believe what anyone says - 50 is sore! The hangovers in particular 😀

We may have been in maternity hospitals at the same time mate as my birthday was only 19 days ago! Happy birthday to you!
