Latest shot I've seen the case looks kinda normal now... seems like the beadblasted finish was an illusion caused by a low rez image...
I'd ask to you to PM me that latest shot, but as we're just a few days away now, I'll wait for the official reveal. After watch 4 was released at a museum event, it's anyone's guess as to where and how this last watch will be revealed. According to the countdown timer (which I don't trust), it will be Monday early morning US time. So I doubt it will be somewhere in the Americas. But my guess is that TH will want to do something to end things with a "bang"!
I've seen pictures and the real thing and what that kills this model for me is the reflective finish of the subdials. If they had been matte, like the rest of the watch, this model would have been amazing.
Here it is...the last of the five: https://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuer...-watch-5-phantom-black-2009-2019-ref-caw211z/
Nice. I actually like the sub-dials and the watch overall. Not sure why it commands a price premium over the previous 4 though.

If you look at the prices online - all 4 previous editions have been updated to that new price as well.... seems like they did a price adjustment across all of them without considering their release mechanism for these limited editions over time ?
My feeling as well. It's not all that different in the overall look from the C11 Vintage Grey LE or the C12 Black McQueen. I was expecting watch 5 to be much more, but it's nevertheless a nice looking watch. Here's another wrist shot, via @iwatchome on IG.
This must have something to do with the exchange rate for AUD. The pricing remains unchanged in USD and most other currencies.
I’m looking forward to seeing this in the metal. I agree with David’s write up, that the sub dials could be a bit much bling. I'm surprised that they didn’t sand blast the crown and pushers also to match the case. The teaser insta images yesterday did look like they had but today’s photos suggest otherwise. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to pick mine up until Next week and it does involve an overseas jaunt but not as far as the Far East this time. What has interested me this time In comparison to the release of the previous four, is that the High resolution photos doesn’t seem to have created a great amount of wow. Maybe that is due to the phantom aspect of the watch. It’s going to be a long week wait but looking forward to finally seeing number five in the metal.... It’s been a long wait.
