I received an email which linked me through to the Australian store with attendant pricing.

Must admit, I was sceptical of the anniversary designs at first. But the more I see, the more I like. TH have done a great job so far.

Yes, I think that has become the general consensus.

The one lesson... Don't judge by the early renders!

Of the leaked images, this was the one that caught my eye. I'll have a closer look at all the official images but my first impression today is good.

Agree. Those leaks didn't do the watches any favours...

This reveal is the most surprising for me! Based on the early pic, I wasn't so interested, but it looks so much better in these pics! 🤪

I love the overall look and colors of this watch, for me it's the best of the 3 so far! 👍

The only thing holding me back is the pebble like finish of dial. Kind of on the fence if I like the finish or not. 🤔

Likewise and all the bad mouthing I did in my head as to how they had missed a great opportunity, I take back.
Although the 3 so far have proved much more desirable now that they are out and we can see the whole design in it's glory, I still think that there is one great redesign (i.e round pushers) that is missing.
Maybe that's the 1000 piece LE at the end? Wishful thinking I reckon though.

Well my previous comment on a sand blasted finish was correct, just had the wrong watch.
I still think that we might see a sand blasted finish on the case in number 5.

So if the subdials were highlighted with the a/b button colours of the original game boy I would sell a kidney to buy this thing. Somehow I think it would be a bit much for most though!
Watch the Instagram story, before it disappears; it even includes the Nintendo like music!

Anyone else receive an ‘exclusive access’ email to purchase this one?

At first I was dubious if it was an elaborate targeted phishing attempt or IT glitch tbh as I did not think these were being sold online and were already sold out?

Maybe they were not all reserved?

If I’d not emptied the watch buying piggy bank already this quarter, I’d have pulled the trigger as I think it looks great!

In any case i was too late to respond so if it was a legit offer to purchase online rather than an IT glitch then any left over have already gone.
I got one. I signed up on the US TAG Heuer website to send me notifications on when the Monaco 50's are available. I figured that's why I got one and anybody else who signed up would too. Didn't think it was fishy at all.

Funny, for me the red one was exactly as I expected it to be when it was revealed. I could visualize the ruby red dial from the early photos, so I wasn't surprised by its looks.

Edit: I checked my inbox and I got it too. Just no stock to purchase online in the US.

You were far more optimistic than I was.

I got an exclusive access email too. Took
me to the UK site where it was sold out. Like the design but not sure about the dial texture. For me, the order of preference is still 1, 2, 3.
