Good question. Now that you mention it, I think @Hubert sticks mainly with the "heritage" models. From his vast collection, I recall Monacos, Carreras, Autavias, and maybe a Silverstone (?) or Monza (?), but not sure I've seen a "TAG"... 🤔
The one I'm missing is the Silverstone. I have yet to get one of those. 😀

Though I do have a Rally Master.

That book is a travesty of errors so it definitely isn't the last word on what is and is not a Carrera.

You can post links to as many press releases and excerpts from books as you like, in my view the Connected is a smart watch not a Carerra.

What I posted is the official TAG Heuer Press release from when the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 was launched. There’s nothing more Official than that on what is and is not a Carrera. I’m sorry but, unless you were the new Mr. Biver at TAG Heuer, it’s that Official TAG Heuer statment that counts on what is a Carrera, not your opinion 😉

The factory installed watchfaces are only from Carrera models, as you can see in this screenshot from my iPhone app, and you can clearly read on them “CARRERA CONNECTED”:

And the available mechanical modules are only Carrera models: Carrera Calibre 5, Calibre 16, and Heuer 02 Tourbillon

But as with any other Wear OS smartwatch, you can install an app called “WatchMaker”, and then you can download hundreds of other custom watchfaces (including Monacos, Autavias, Monzas, Montreals...), or even design your own watchface.

If we -the Connected owners- were 100% purists with the Connected, we should wear only Carrera watchfaces, agree, but it’s also very fun to play with more options, with other TAG Heuer and Heuer watchfaces... because we buy this watch to enjoy it. I’m sure you would do the same if you were owning one! 👍

I post different pictures in the specific Connected thread about the watchfaces (with links and different info), and in the generic “what’s on your wrist?” thread. If you are not interested in watchfaces for the Connected, why are you reading that specific thread? 😉

There are more members posting the same or similar pictures in different threads, because sometimes they match more than one thread, but I don’t read any criticism against them... maybe you can give us a break from your attack on the Connected 😉
