Amazing story, I wonder where those 70k cases ended up. Probably remelted.
Cues of both the Bell&Ross BR05 and the Bvlgari octo finissimo.

Very interesting and enjoyable .
It's crazy how a new CEO can steamroll the work of two years in the name of a strategy ::facepalm2::!

Great story DC! Just go to show that there are alot going on “under the curtain” before any official watch reveal. I’d also like to think that there are those in the committee who favor & don’t favor a certain aspect of a watch. Ultimately, in the end either the Head Design or CEO makes the final stamp of approval.

These “inside stuff” are surely juicy and interesting! Keep them coming ;)

An insightful and enjoyable read. But it's a funky chunky looking watch IMHO. I highly doubt I would've been interested in one.

I love it. There was a pukka one with the right bracelet and dial on eBay last year for about £1000. Really wish I'd bought it now.

Great article DC. Found myself looking up Edge cases on eBay a few months back. Didn't picked one up at the time. Kinda wish I had.

I found it very interesting and a cool design for the time back then. I really like the font/look of the bezel.
