Does anyone know if the bracelet fits the anniversary Monacos (lug with)? Should be no problem, right?

Not impressed with the bracelet. I get what they're trying to do but the execution is sloppy. It's too thick, it has stretch and the polished links are just too large and flat. The alignment of the end links with the case is... lacking. If I didn't know any better I'd say this is '90s aftermarket. The NSA bracelets were so well designed and made, basically jewelry. I don't have that sentiment with this bracelet at all. I know too critical :D

My understanding is that it fits all 39x39mm modern Monacos with 22mm lug width. Not sure about the 38x38mm re-editions and before (i.e. I don’t know their lug width to start with; maybe also 22mm?)

Can we have a side by side comparison of the old and new Monaco bracelets? ;) For objectivity and to see if drool-worthy :D

That wouldn't be fair. The old one would win, hands down.

I don't know if it's actually the new design, but Monacos just don't look right on anything but straps to me.

He's right, they are literally disposable. And despite the Sellita base, no independent watchmaker will touch it, so the question of future serviceability is even between it and the in-house.

Personally though, I think the Monaco looks a lot better with the crown properly situated on the left, and won't consider a Heuer 02 Monaco unless they figure out a way to move it.

Sorry Jim... I forget that this is an international forum. On 'Dragon's Den' in the UK (Shark Tank in the USA) the Dragons say stuff like 'Your idea is rubbish, you haven't got a clue what you're doing and for that reason I'm out' Abrod's post just read like a Dragon giving their reasons and exclaiming 'For that reason I'm out'.

But hey, what joke isn't funnier once you've explained it?

Agree. I never considered a steel bracelet for my Monacos either. But I respect those who want one for theirs. BTW, in the Monaco Designs Classics Book, there are two types of steel bracelets that were used for the vintage Monaco/ ;) One is similar to @Yago ’s and the other one similar to the modern new release.

Out of the blue question , is there such a thing as Heuer / TAG Heuer day for watches? You know like SpeedyTuesday. Is there such a thing as MonacoMonday ::confused2:: or RaceDay (Sunday) Carrera ::confused2::
Just came up in my head or better yet, let’s make one! :D

I've spent years studiously avoiding reality television, so while I'm familiar with the show I also didn't quite get it!

    Even so-
