Hard to say, but one thing is certain, Guy Semon is apparently the technical mastermind behind the key technological innovations of both!

Sounds like it's time for an interview with the boss!

If they can price this around CHF5,000 in a Carrera, that would be totally game changing. After the first models, you could add a normal dial and have in-house 3-hand watch and Chronograph calibres...that would be pretty special.

Yes! It seems there are lots of great things in the pipeline and we sure could use some new info for what's in store.
If they put this Carrera out next year, I'll get it, as long as it's around that price range. 馃榾

That CHF5000 number really caught my eye too. That would be amazing and would have a profound effect on the whole industry.

Definitely if that's the price, it would be a definite buy for me. CHF 5000 for arguably the most accurate movement in the world ?! It's a steal !

Well deserved price for Zenith. Very interesting technology but it will unfortunately take ages for the watch community to recognise the importance of this new movement type. If it came to TAG Heuer first it would take even longer, but hopefully, the collaboration between Zenith/TAG/LVMH will make it a bit quicker.

Anyone else think that the Longines is not bad ? Monza was last year winner of that category right ?

So apparently Zenith are having trouble with this movement now and they either won't return watches that are sent back for service or won't certify the accuracy any more. Thank the Lord TAG Heuer didn't put this out, it would be the Isograph all over again.

Very interesting. I can understand the watches not being certified, but I struggle to believe that you send in your watch and Zenith refuse to return it- I've only heard of this when comes to replica watches.

The broader pattern is that Guy Semon's designs, as innovative and brilliant as they are conceptually, struggle to be industrialised and brought to market.
