Yes, TAG Heuer was bought in September 1999. I've discussed with TAG Heuer, and the best guess is that the 2000 Catalogue was launched in mid-late 1999, rather than in early 2000- but it could be wrong. It's also the reason that there is no 2003/ 2004 Catalogue- because the dates that catalogues were published changed.
Alter Ego seems like a mistake.
Oh right, yes I hadn't thought about that the catalogue might have come out before that actual date stated on the cover.
You don't like the Alter Ego? I think it's quite nice and it makes sense to me to have a ladies range that is unique to the ladies as it frees up the design. Personally I think the current ladies F1 range is an absolute disaster, since it's turned what was a nice looking watch into an ugly and cheap looking watch in one generation.
