David, I am confused... looking at the catalogue page - when I open the 2000 catalogue it says it was the last one before LVMH took over (which I'm pretty sure was 1999) and when you open the 2001 catalogue it says it sees the launch of the Alter Ego range, even though it was in the 2000 catalogue...

Yes, TAG Heuer was bought in September 1999. I've discussed with TAG Heuer, and the best guess is that the 2000 Catalogue was launched in mid-late 1999, rather than in early 2000- but it could be wrong. It's also the reason that there is no 2003/ 2004 Catalogue- because the dates that catalogues were published changed.

Alter Ego seems like a mistake.

Oh right, yes I hadn't thought about that the catalogue might have come out before that actual date stated on the cover.

You don't like the Alter Ego? I think it's quite nice and it makes sense to me to have a ladies range that is unique to the ladies as it frees up the design. Personally I think the current ladies F1 range is an absolute disaster, since it's turned what was a nice looking watch into an ugly and cheap looking watch in one generation.

Sorry, I meant a mistake to say that it was new in 2001 is it was already in the 2000 catalogue 😁😁
