Hi!

This went under the radar for me, but it seems a new Autavia is coming. Model code CBE511C. Anyone seen one?

Looks cool and seems to have a new version of the H02 movement with improved stopwatch. Is it a new watch or did i miss something?

Watches of Switzerland have it listed on their US SITE. That's the only place I see it.
I suspect it's gone on to early.
Looking at the pics it looks to have the same strap system as the Connected with fixed springbar and Quick release.
COSC is an upgrade to the 02 Movement.
I like the look of it.

I hadn't seen pics before, not sure if it's been officially released.

Thanks for the pointer Anthony. 馃榾
I like it too, a very attractive watch! I'm drawn to the panda. Yes, a COSC H02 is a really nice and welcomed upgrade. I see the size is 42mm, but does anyone know the thickness?

Very nice indeed.
That would get me out of bed in the morning.
Black for me and Silver for some Bomingo on this site.

Definitely homage paid to my beloved Bund.

The Watches of Switzerland site calls them the 60th Anniversary Autavias. While I would've preferred a Heritage Autavia, these look worthy.

I will hazard a guess on thickness.
Somewhere between 13.5 to 14.5.

The case looks very similar in profile to the prior heritage Autavias, difference appears to be brushing on top and sides. Flyback, ceramic and COSC should get these a bit of community respect. Price puts it at Breitling B01 territory. I am looking forward to seeing this release and also wonder if they will release a regular 02 movement at the 6k mark.

These Autavia Flyback watches have been dormant for years. The official reveal will be in January, although as others have noted, some sites have already posted them in their inventory.

Since they are still under embargo and after consulting with @Calibre11, we decided to redact the photos, until the official reveal.

They look great, the GMT on the site looks very nice as well

I can't believe TAG is charging more for this microbrand-look GMT with a cheap 'caller' movement than Tudor does for a Black Bay GMT with its 'true' GMT movement.

Hell, you can buy a Mido Ocean Star GMT for less than half as much and even that has a jump hour hand (and 80-hour power reserve to boot).

Come the f-馃が-k on, TAG. ::facepalm1::

You cant compare TAG to Mido, c'mon now that brand aint as premium expensive as TAG. Doubt that most people know what Tudor is either, they want that sweet sought after luxury TAG Heuer shield on the dial and are willing to pay the big bucks for it. I aint no fan of the design of these new flybacks either but we have to remember that 80% of the price of a TAG Heuer is justified by the brand and what you pay to get into the luxury experience of owning something with a TAG Heuer label 馃憤

I just dislike it when it's so painfully obvious 馃檮

Maybe I'll treat myself to this when the new Aquaracer GMT breaks cover at 3x the price with the same microbrand movement as the Autavia GMT.

(little secret for ya, Mido is part of the Swatch Group, so they're powered by the latest ETA movements btw)
