need advise: service and repair for Autavia

I like the black canvas one, and that brushed black strap in the corner of the second photo is pretty nice looking too

You know i like the black canvas too but just want to hear from the group here with it... the one on the corner it looks nice too but the sales rep (lady) recommend this canvas since it can handle being wet not like the leather strap gets sweat scent.

Anyway, just want to look different with my watch.

Wow nice bands!! I like the blue strap (1st pix). The nato strap (3rd pix) nice too.... hmmmm soooo confusing which one to get hehehe.... any recommendations online stores to get a bands?

Photo #1 makes me happy. Vintage Heuers always look best on replica Corfam rally straps.

Photo #3 makes me sad though. They don't belong on NATOs 🙁

As long as you're not wearing your leather strap watch during heavy exercise, it won't smell like sweat. Even after a full summer of wearing - though you probably won't want to wear it every day.

There are many cheap canvas straps to be found on eBay / the web, to give the look a try before spending real money on a high-quality one.

You are right with the sweat scent part. I agree with buying a strap specially with the good quality (price wise) that is why im browsing on amazon and they Have choices. The problem ordering online is you cannot see in person and see how it looks like with your watch. Oh well ...

Keep you posted once i order and hook up to my watch.

+1 for Heuerville. It'll take 3 months to get your strap but they're very nice. Not super thrilled with the strap I got from theleatherstrap though, it's stiff and stains easily

Another one to consider is James Hyman http://db10straps.tumblr.com/

Nothing like having a custom strap in my opinion, as it just makes it all that little bit more special.

I wear my leather straps in 45C in the summer and never do they stink, same as leather lined shoes.

I’m a big fan of rally straps on the Autavias whether vintage or new. Definitely not a fan of a nato on the Autavia.

Here’s my Autavia on a Heuerville strap, although currently it’s on a vintage Tropic Sport (on left of pic).
