And talking about AMG... this was the first car completely designed (engine and body) by AMG: the SLS “Gullwing” 🥰

This one is for sale at the Mercedes-Benz dealership where I work... only one owner, who changed it for an S-Class, and drove it very carefully: it only has 27000 km, and it still has the original tyres from the factory! It's like new!

The price (189000€) is very good compared to its quotation in Germany, because in this mint condition and mileage, there it would be selling at 220-230000€...

I must win the lottery as soon as possible!! That it reaches me at least for this SLS and for the Tourbillon mechanical module!! 😁

I love it!!!! 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰
And the sound and power (575 hp) from its 6.2 naturally aspirated V8 engine is so great!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

^^The modern SLS Gullwing is probably my 2nd favorite Benz after the original 300SL Gullwing.

The best of all “Gullwings” (and for me, the best car ever) is the 300 SLR “Uhlenhaut Coupé” from 1955 🥰

Only two were made (they were never sold and both are part of the Mercedes-Benz Collection), and one of them was the personal company car for the great engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut (father of the 300 SL Gullwing and the Silver Arrows, including the 300 SLR), and with a top speed of 290 km/h... in 1955!! 😵‍💫... it was the terror of the autobahns! 😁

It is considered the most expensive car in the world ... in case it was for sale, but it is not.

One (blue upholstery, that of Rudolf Uhlenhaut) is on display in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.

The other (red upholstery), participates in exhibitions like Goodwood Festival of Speed

In fact the SLS (and also the current AMG GT) have same basic design and weight distribution of the Uhlenhaut Coupé: front-mid engine (behind the front axle) and transaxle gearbox, in order to get the ideal weight balance... main difference is that 300 SLR has a 8 in line engine, while SLS and AMG GT are V8

The wheels of the 300SLR Gullwing looks similar to the 2000GT. I’m now definitely interested in getting a 1/18 model of this 😉

The SLS is one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard, the v8 rumble is incredible. A bloke down the road has got one in yellowy-gold, I had no idea they were so expensive.

I was talking about the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “Uhlenhaut Coupé” some posts ago, and I have just discovered this nice TAG Heuer video where the Uhlenhaut Coupé (and also the W125 Silver Arrow from the Grand Prix era in the 30’s) appears! 👍

Another picture with the star in front 😉... my brother took this one from the passenger seat of my former 500 E (W 124)

This was at the “Autòdrom de Terramar” in Sant Pere de Ribes, very close to Sitges (Barcelona). A race track from 1923, the fourth oldest circuit in the world after Brooklands (1907), Indianapolis (1909), and Monza (1921)

Thanks sir @kappa_md ! 😀
It’s a nice selection 🥰, but it’s hard to choose only 15! 👍

Missing, for instance: SL 65 Black Series, SLK 55 Black Series, SL 55 (R 230), AMG GT 63 S 4door, CLK 63 Black Series, 500 E 6.0/E 60 (W 124)... and of course my C 55 AMG (W 202) and its racing version in the DTM 😉
