The original Gulf Oil ceased to exist around 1979/80 due to poor business practices and other issues which caused its downfall. It was then acquired by Chevron & BP and others. Gulf Oil International became mainly a marketing/licensing company for the brand and continues on.

Ah I see thanks sir @Mspeedster 馃憤 Thanks for the info. So Gulf Oil is already part of Chevron. 馃榾
