Seems awfully cheap, don't you think?
I think that particular picture is terrible, not the watch.

Notice there is no lume on the hands.

Have never heard or seen this one..great find!

I've just googled the reference and there is only one result and that is the Christies auction page. It's interesting that there doesn't appear to be any other information on the internet about this reference.....

True, but in my experience that doesn't seem to be particularly unusual for rare TAGs...

Sorry, perhaps you misunderstood. 5000 Euros for a Monaco in white gold seems 'cheap' as in 'not-expensive'. Seeing as plenty of Monacos are £4000 and over...

Who's selling Monacos for £4000? Unless it's a brand-new watch from an AD, you're getting ripped off... TAG Monacos can be had for around $2500 US all day and night, and into next week....

That's what I meant, new ones are £4000ish. Some of them anyway... and the 'Steve McQueen' ones are way more than that.

How odd that it would be a Japan only edition given that it celebrates one of Australia's greatest drives!
Yes, that one is Japan only

And a day later, another one of Great Ocean Road models is available for sale for AUD3,500 from Nick Hacko in Sydney.

According to his newsletter, there are in fact four in the Japan only driving/road series as follows:

- Great Ocean Road in Australia, ref CV201F, released in 2008, only 600 pieces
- Pacific Coast Highway in California, ref CV201N, only 500 pieces
- Scottish Highlands in the UK, ref CV2012
- Toscana Hill Roads in Italy, ref CV201Q, released in 2010, only 577 pieces
