TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre-5 UAE Limited Edition

I saw one of these for sale today and was wondering if anybody on here can tell me a little more...

I know this was to celebrates the 50th anniversry of the Carrera collection but I also read that this watch was produced in 250 pieces , and was available for purchase from September 2013.

Am I correct in thinking there were only 250 of this made or is that not the case?

Any extra info would be appreciated

Can't tell you much about the watch, but I've seen them in at least two TAG outlets, so obviously didn't sell particularly well.

That Carrera Heritage is not a success IMHO.

I think this is a UK Limited Edition from 2012- they also did a Carbon Fibre- look dial for the Monaco in 2011- CAW2119

I quite like the CAW2119 but, at the same time, I thought the carbon fibre look would get old.

An interesting flourish of colour on a previous stealth model.

My thoughts are that the main hours, minutes and running seconds hands would have been better left as black gold.

Edit: It also looks like someone needs to educate Bonhams on what the reference number of a watch is. They have listed the serial number as the reference, although they do mention the reference number further down in the text.

Is it also really 47mm diameter or 45mm like the original?

Yes, I did think that was strange re: serial/ reference number.

I'm sure that its still 45mm...maybe the included the crown/ pushers?
