^ Agree. In fact I think the Viceroy reedition is the only nu-Autavia that truly works, without having to overlook anything. (As long as you don't mind some thickness, which I don't in sporty casual situations)

And I have it from a good source that TAG Heuer no longer ships replacement parts. You need to send them your watch for repairs.
Oooh no, if I get the Night diver I want the 844 biiizel insert for it!

Yes, this is the one I came very close to buying on several occasions. It sat at a local store for about a year and I kept trying it on, kept thinking I should buy it, but then whenever I looked at the thick profile on my wrist I just couldn't pull the trigger.

3 against 1 - guess I’m the odd one out then… 😬

I really didn’t like that bezel one bit on the watch when seeing it in the flesh 😗

If you have two Autavias with different bezels, you can interchange them 👍

I think at Formex they introduced an easily swappable bezel for their “Reef” diver and you can buy any color you like and swap ‘em out to your heart’s content. Pretty cool IMHO.

I like the OB as well
Agreed. The tachy slims down the bezel pretty effectively... I just realize that David had actually posted a H2H shot (or montage ?) in his Hodinkee OB article in 2018 (Time really flies!):

I like the tachy bezel too, it does help to visually slim down the bezel. I prefer the looks of the OB over the Rindt, but the Rindt is really the better "proper" re-edition.

The OB, Viceroy, and Siffert are all gorgeous looking "tribute" watches, but because they lack their original's cushion style case, I don't view them as proper re-editions in the same way as the Rindt H02. So I'm conflicted when I think about these. On the one hand they're very nice looking tributes, on the other hand they're not really close to what the originals looked like except in color.

You don't have to agree with other people's opinions man... I didn't get where I am today by agreeing with other people's opinions!

Don’t worry - I easily stand my ground when I feel like it (If I didn’t, I’d probably hang out in a RLX forum). That post was intended to be a bit tongue-in-cheek 😉

Bonne nuit à tous!

Well the Rolex forums tend to ban people who disagree with them on just about anything, so it's probably best you don't hang around there 😜

I actually found when I had my WOS australia LE ( the blue one) that I really liked the big chunky numbers; better and more practical than the MH. Bezel on the siffert LE. I also found I used the bezel a lot (I was travelling a lot more in those days)

in terms of pure visuals I can understand why people like the smaller text. For practicality on the wrist the big numbers win for me

Please excuse my ignorance (I can't keep all the different models in my head and I need to see each one as they're being discussed to remember what they look like)....

what's the model on the RIGHT of this photo?? Because that's very close to what I was talking about....

Again - please pardon the ignorance - what's an 'OB' ?? (any chance a link to that article?)

I think the OB was never a Limited or Numbered edition. Only exclusively sold by Hodinkee. It’s like the SMQ Monaco which is quite available to customers.

Yeah the OB flopped big time, still available

Yep. Made too many of them, they're available cheaply on the secondhand market (two or three pop up each year, just requires a little patience), and now they sit on the Hodinkee Shop shelves. Too bad
