Until I zoomed in i thiught it was a photo of a watch which had a shattered crystal with some botched siy repair I think it supposed to be a basketball theme?
Looking at it, even fleetingly was hard enough. Never mind reading about it! Did the article explain which grade of sharpie was ised in the BWD creche when they set then assignment ‘draw on this watch’ ?
The calibre 5 is a beautifully balanced, understated piece. I pretty much like every detail and love how it comes to life on the wrist, perfectly reflecting daylight on the hour markers. It seems they don't have enough filters at Bamford before signing off on or even starting on a project. "Let's make a dial that looks like a basketball". Abomination fatigue starting to kick in. I feel a Wimbledon LE coming up next year.
Well, that is OK, but then they have stuck to the tried and tested red and black so it would work, wouldn't it .
paying ‘homage’ to a swatch group deaign on a bespoke tag. Hmmmm someone’s missed the corporate mesaage memo on that one
Agreed, not horrible for once! However, once again red and black has proven to be the safe combination.
Slightly off topic, but Bamford have been teasing a new watch that will launch today, This will be the second "Bamford" own design watch after the Mayfair. I've been fortunate to see it...and I think it's a fantastic looking watch at a very reasonable price..so much so that I've ordered one. I'll post a photo of the new model after the official launch, but I think George and the team have done a great job on this one.
