Watch finder say that obviously the warranty isn’t transferable from the guy I bought it from.
That was more like the response I expect from a dealer. Keep up the good work watchfinders
If the warranty was activated at purchase it should be transferred to new owner(s).

Good to know I suppose.
The guy I bought it from offered his support if it breaks he will deal with them for me.
Was serviced before he received it 4 months ago so maybe it’s not worn in yet.
Says the tolerance is -9 to +7 on these jh85s
Seems to be keeping better time now also. Maybe it wasn’t fully wound yesterday.

That is bizarre. Does the watch show up on TAG Heuers warranty search? In that case you're covered until the deadline in any case. Warranty should stay with the watch, not the owner, at least that's the principle with most brands.

I find with my H02 movement watch when worn day on day off it runs +15 seconds a day, when worn daily +5 seconds a day. Maybe with the big power reserve it likes to have a fuller wind on it.

Liking the sarcasm yy77

It’s demagnetised now. Just a few seconds for the magic to happen
Sorry, somehow your post appeared 4 or 5 times but got deleted all of a sudden. Happy you got the issue resolved.

My Panerai manual wind with 3 day power reserve and speedy get wound every day to get the best timekeeping, isochronism it's called if I'm correct.

I just wound it by hand. Was a little nervous doing this but now I hear the clutch click I know it’s fully wound

Doesn’t seem to lose much on the wrist.
5pm - 9pm lost just over 1 second ( -6.8scs per day)
Off the wrist laid on crown side 9pm -5am lost nearly 9 seconds
(Almost-20seconds per day with those figures)

On the plus side of things my Monaco is running +1.9sec per day
Gained 3secs s as after winding and lost a second overnight
