Why does the box have the old logo and the watch have the new logo?

Hmmm not sure about this one, could be a really good fake. What gives me a bad vibe is the font on the date wheel that looks to be just a liiiitle bit off and the other thing is that the yellow "1/10 TH" text stretches too far to the left of the 6 "index" on that sub dial. In other photos of the model it does not appear to be that far to the left...

Another thing I often react to is when sales ads has the bezel not centered, always ask the seller to align the bezel and send new photos.

Good spotting @Jim Dollares! That yellow dash does seem to be positioned too left. Wouldn't that just be printing tolerance though?
I found an official TH photo with 23 on the date wheel (if you can believe it) and it looks the same I think so no worries there.

However I do believe we have a fake here, although a very very good one.
What concerns me most is the bezel:
1. The size and position of the lume dot on the bezel triangle. It seems a bit large and protruding while the original are recessed. Maybe I'm seeing ghosts.
2. This is the most obvious feature. On the original bezel the markers between the minutes are positionted slightly closer to the inner ring. Look at the markers between 20 and 30, 30 and 40 and 50 and the triangle. On the debated specimen these markers are clearly positioned in the middle of the bezel.
I think I see the same issue with the minute markers on the dial but we'd need a head on shot to be sure.

Besided that I also think the proportions between the polished and lumed bits of the hour markers are a bit off but only slightly. Most obvious at 3, 6 and 9 o clock. There should be a bit more metal and less lume I think.

The Tag logo on that box is awful. Just look at the a and g.

Yeah, I must admit I keep thinking that's a red flag right there. The watch still has the plastic on there's no reason it should be in a crummy box.

Btw who is this guy asking the question? A new member and I can’t find this listing on Ebay. Is someone trying to improve his copying skills? Again, maybe I’m seeing ghosts. 😀

Exactly my thought, we are probably helping a criminal improve his fakes 👎

Doubtful. They will have a real watch to compare to and be well aware of any shortcomings. Testing whether it fools the experts is a possibility I guess. I think the jury is out on this one.. certainly good fakes of the Aquaracer exist. So important to use a reputable and trusted seller to avoid any problems.

Haha yes of course they have a real watch to compare with, testing how bulletproof it is by asking the the experts was what I meant of course

I don't think there's enough evidence to say it definitely is counterfeit 100%. But one should most certainly be wary.

You guys have really gone all 'conspiracy theory' on this one. I'm no Aquaracer expert but it seems to me that the 'issues' could just be a function of the photographs, the lighting, reflections, etc. Just my tuppence!

Is it a conspiracy theory that there are fakes almost as good as original products? There are retarded idiots that pay USD +1000 for a fake Hublot for example...

Sometimes dealers provide the wrong boxes.

There are some very good fakes around. I don't want to post the link here, but I can share a site with you that sells very good Rolex and Aquaracers. For the record, I haven't bought any!
