Recent acquisition, a 41mm - WAY211C-1

Looking to confirm if this one is 100%. Looks good to me for the most part, pearl, dial etc.... But I was surprised to see an ETA 2824-2 instead of a SW200 in there. Also, I assume that the WAY211C-1 means it's a later model than a WAY211C-0 and I thought tag got away from ETA for their 3 hander ARs?
Looks fine. Still leftover ETAs pre-2015, so it's not surprising. The -1 is a revision.

Hi Everyone, I have a question that i'm hoping there's a pretty black and white answer to...

I recently bought a Formula 1 Chronograph that gave me no cause for concern until I took the back off.

Inside is the Ronda 5040.D 6-jewel nickel plated movement. I am lead to believe that TAG never used this movement - only the 13-jewel gold (brass) coloured movement.

Could anyone decisively confirm please?

Thank you.

Unless it says "Swiss Parts", then post some pictures - clear, in focus ones - of the front, back, and inside.

Does having "swiss parts" make it a decisive answer? Because, I'm pretty convinced this is fake but it DOES say "swiss parts".

^^^ FWIW, the movement spacer looks authentic.
Unfortunately, I've managed to conclusively work out it's fake myself as you can see from this little montage I've knocked up.

It's good though, really good. Going back to it's seller tomorrow.

I would add that being told on an earlier post if the Ronda movement has "swiss parts" it's real does somewhat call into question the advice given but I've left my photos up for reference purposes.

"Swiss Parts" movements are a definitive "it's fake" - I'm not sure how you got the complete opposite from any comment on here.
does it look real?
Not even remotely.

Perhaps you should work on your comment delivery then! 😂

Swiss Parts mean it does not qualify as Swiss Made, and there would be no point posting pictures as it would be conclusive already.
