Hello guys, just joined, and purchased my first TagHeuer, and now wondering if this is a real watch since I couldn't find references about this model. Seller said it is a GMT Professional circa 1990/91/92 and I found it in the catalog. However I just wondering if this is a fake one since I cant find any picture of the engine. One ofy friend told me it supposed to have 7 jewel, bit on the engine, it said six 6 jewels v8. What do you think? Engine replacement or original? All is fake?

It looks fine, but I'd wait for other members more knowledgeable about this series to weigh in.

Looks okay to me, slightly surprised it doesn't say TAG Heuer on the movement like some I've seen, but that doesn't necessarily mean its automatically suspicious.

I don't have or had this particular 1500 model before, but I did have many normal 1500 models, both the 006 and 013 versions, and they looked in detail similar as your pictures (as far as the hands, dial finish and color, bracelet, etc. are concerned).
So I checked around on Google and found this info in spanish:
"Specialist Series 1500 GMT
Caja: Acero pulido con chorro de arena.
Bisel GMT: Acero pulido con chorro de arena.
Esfera: Negra o Blanca
Corona a rosca.
Cristal de zafiro.
Movimiento: Cuarzo
Calibre: ETA 255.266 con un diámetro de 11 1/2.
Indicador de fin de vida de pila.

El brazalete de acero (acabado Blasted y pulido) tiene la referencia: BA0606"

When I checked out the ETA 255.266 movement it indeed has 6 jewels, not 7 as your friend mentioned.
With all that info I am 99.99% sure it is legit, one tiny thing that doesn't make it a 100%:
the black color of the circuit on the quartz movement should be blue and TAG Heuer signed originally, but could have been easily replaced at a later time.
Hope the info helps!

I think this is fake. The minute HAnd is a bit too short. But what do you guys think?

No expert on this model but don't see any red flags.

Agreed, looks OK. It's the older model, pretty '16 iirc.

I think based on the catalogue, the second hand is supposed to be full red.
