@Jim Dollares - Thank you, this is my first purchase of a Tag so I can’t tell the obvious, to me the only concern was the serial number, the watch itself looks and feels stunning, il have to save up for a new I think direct from Tag! Thanks for your time! As for still buying it despite the back story, yeah it’s nice to know your covered by the eBay money back guarantee so I felt ok at this price, il defiantly return and give negative feedback though, he has two eBay accounts, one business where I found it too, and then one private which he sold it from so benefit from the £1 seller fees they currently have.
1st account is many_offers
2nd account is bargain-4-you

Thanks again

Honestly, those usernames make me uneasy as it is - I'd be happy buying a phone case off them, though!

Ahaha! I can’t unsee how dodgy the names are now, I was just super excited to get the watch ‍♂️

Reality today is that fakes are so "good" that only reasonable options are to buy new from AD or used from someone you trust 100%

Agreed - even with the watch in your hands, it can be hard to tell. You're definitely buying the seller more these days.

I am gutted, but at least now I have the knowledge that I 100% love and want this watch!

wow, normally you don't get lucky enough ( aside from the bad luck of buying the watch...) that one of these ultra fakes has a serial number that can be searched AND shows the wrong watch. First figure out if the seller meant to do this. They could have bought the fake first without realizing. Which happens a lot. So don't be TOO quick to leave negative feedback.

Subdial markers and 12 o'clock marker look off to me - and as you said, the serial points to a ladies' AR.

I think @jamesbizs is the expert on fake CAZ1014s.
actually lol that's one of the watches i'm NOT an expert on fakes with... I'm just an expert on the people selling those fakes.

I have emailed him after finding the serial number to not match, and he claims innocence, again says he brought it brand new unboxed with no papers, and that he will “take it up with his supplier” with lots of apologies...I don’t know what to make of him, he was keen to do the deal, and at £560 it was about £200 cheaper than other examples on eBay, if there wasn’t a money back guarantee I wouldn’t of gone for it, but I’m grateful there is AND that I found this forum with such quick and knowledgeable feedback!

Just imagine the hundreds or thousands of watches sold on ebay by criminals like him every month to people thinking they bought a nice high quality Swiss made watch.

Another tip once you get your money back and go hunting for a genuine one. Dont buy on Amazon, that is also a huge platform where tons of fakes are sold. Many people seem to have the delussion that Amazon is a trustworthy place to buy things from but stay away from that horrible place.

Oh don’t worry, I’m saving up and going to Tag or Goldsmiths, I don’t want to give Bezos any of my money 😀

Update on the seller*

He’s also messaged me to say that would cover what he paid for it...

I dont get it. Why a partial refund? The seller just hoping that the person who bought it is an idiot?
