·You forgot listing this model in the blog, @Aquagraph.
So this guy in the TAG Heuer Reddit community posted some pictures of an AR he bought off Ebay and asked if anything looked fishy. Indeed it did with a bad logo engaving on the caseback for starters. Even after pointing a few things out he was leaning towards authentic. Bizarre.
I need to point out the watch was from 2017, looked like new however, has a serial number that matches the filled out paperwork and checks out on TAGs website...
In a comment someone else pointed out a website that sells ‘high quality’ fakes. I won’t share the link here but wow. Tons of fakes, ARs you basically can’t distinguish from real, signed rotors, the works. Never ever buy an AR outside of an AD. There are 275 (!) Carreras on the site as well, including H02T.
Hi, First post here. I recently bought a Monaco Quartz and am a little suspicious about it. Although the quality of the watch does not seem cheap, I feel like I got too good of a deal on it given the condition of the watch. Once I received the watch I ran the serial number and warranty code number and both came back "no result" which further made me suspicious. Any input would be greatly appreciated. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gLr14mewZQJhV4jw9
Edit: Also just realized that the watch has quick release straps as you can see in the photos, while no other photos of the watch online have the quick release that I can see.
I don't see any particular red flags. How much did you pay? These go for £1795 RRP brand new, so are not hugely expensive compared to others in the TAG line-up.
I paid $1250 USD / £909 which is why I'm having doubts.
not the worst fake Kirium I've ever seen .Tho they could have at least tried matching the dial color to the case number.
