Yes that makes sense but I think it should be illegal to name something Swiss made when it is not made in Switzerland. Thats what bothers me about the whole scam
there are a lot of laws about naming things Swiss made. Percentages of product and weight and costs. Etc. You should look them up. I haven't done it in awhile. I wonder if they have adjsuted anything for the modern times lol. There has been a lot of controversy

Yes I know and have read a lot about it, the reulations are far from enough.

I love Moser and their campaign, was it "make swiss made great again" 馃榾

Walmart selling fakes 馃槻

No let me rephrase... Walmart sells Tag Heuer 馃槻 I have only seen it in prank videos on youtube but I thought it was a place in America where poor people go to buy canned food and toilet paper in bulk for insanely low prices??

Walmart is trying to be the new Amazon. They allow independent / third-party sellers to use their platform. I have no idea about their vetting requirements but, as you allude to, it's Walmart. They are most certainly not in the luxury watch market themselves and are undoubtedly allowing disreputable people to peddle fakes, etc. on their website.

LOL sorry. You can still easily find out that the watch is fake once handling it. I'm just saying, that the store clerk wouldn't be able to notice instantly. I've never bought from an AD, let alone returned to an AD. So I don't know the actual process.

It's a 1500 series, you can tell by the length of the lugs if nothing else.

Hi All,

I stumbled upon this forum and have found it very helpful. I recently received this watch as a gift and used the tag warranty website to check the serial number. Nothing came up.

Nothing previously has called into question the authenticity of this piece - it looks and feels extremely well made and performs well.

the serial, in case you can鈥檛 make it out on the pics is WWW8370.

Thanks in advance

Thanks! Any idea why the serial number doesn't show up when seaching on the TH warranty website? Perhaps the database isn't conclusive?

It's a grey market watch and not registered with Tag Heuer. Just means they won't warranty it. But will do work on it if you pay them.
