That's intriguing on the Calibre 11...I'd love to know how it could work. If he really means remaking an piggy-back movement on a historic micro-rotor automatic movement? Wow, that's a huge call. I wonder who even has the rights to the Buren/ Hamilton base.
I guess TAG Heuer could always modify the original Chronograph module and add that to base ETA movement, but then it wouldn't have the micro-rotor, which is a key element of what makes this movement different. But that becomes a modified ETA/ Sellita rather than being in-house at a big price point.
I liked when Frederic said "there will always be a blue Monaco."

Federic did specifically say they want to have the micro-rotor.
...what would make sense is a left-hand crown version of the Heuer 02 with two registers...but is this a "modern version of the Calibre 11"?
Yeah, this was towards the end when Haig was hinting that he wants a new blue Monaco (I assume as a replacement for his 1133B). I bet TH gives him one as a gift. But that guy can surely afford any new Monaco he wants with all the money he'll get from the auction.
I'd be happy enough with that honestly. Think it'd be an absolute banger.
The world needs more micro-rotor movements of course! Especially if your automatic chrono is gonna feature a display back.... But IMO, not fully necessary for a reedition of the Cal 11 Monaco. The exterior and dial design are more important
I would've been quite happy with a left side crown H02 Monaco before. But now that Federic has let the cat out of the bag, I'll be really disappointed with anything less than a true modern day C11.
