Insurance

Firstly, I apologise if this in the wrong thread.

Over the last year my thirst for Tag watches has got the better of me and I seem to have acquired a few this year (a couple of Autavia’s, a Carrera, 50th Anniversary Monaco’s and maybe more to come).

My home insurance is due for renewal soon and on looking at the policy I don’t think the cover is now adequate to cover the watches that I own.

Can any of you good people recommend any good insurance companies that I could use to cover my ever increasing watch collection.

Thank you in advance

Mine are on the home insurance as individual items due to value, worth calling your insurer and asking them?

Yes, mine are on home contents insurance too, but specified as additional valuable items. Doesn't add too much much to the premium.

Most insurance companies offer what is called a "rider", which provides an additional benefit over what is described in your policy.

Thanks guys. I’ll give my insurers a call and add them individually. Hope it won’t be too costly 😀

Here you usually get 1 year free insurance upon purchase and then you are able to start paying for year 2 and forward. The insurance covers the full purchase value of the watch with no depreciation and covers theft, fire, dropping it, losing it etc so it is a very beneficial
