As most people would be aware, Hodinkee is leaving the watch sales arena and going "back to basics" of being a media platform.

The close-out sale is now live on the Hodinkee shop and Crown & Caliber for the folks interested. Ironically for us, only one TAG on offer.

Hmmm, not much of a sale. At best, looks like maybe 10% off their regular prices, which weren't really all that great to begin with.

I agree, not the blowout sale I was expecting.

The only piece that I found interesting was the salmon Hodinkee x Zenith chronomaster at $8000.

Their sale started with some really low prices but it seems they adjusted.

However, there are some crazy deals on their straps which are very nice. The orange strap I have on my Chronotempvs Carrera is from Hodinkee, and only cost $25 at their fire sale price

I like the lifestyle magazine comparison. The nonsense writing about the Skeleton Monaco last year was a bit too Cosmo for me
