Help please if you can!

For about 10 years I have been looking on and off for a replacement bracelet for this watch.

I am completely uncertain where to look from here. I do occasionally see links that might fit it in some of the usual spots.

The bracelet mounts without end caps at 24mm but seems to taper down to 17mm. I believe the links are 17mm similar to the 2000's bracelet but really don't want to buy a bunch of stuff to "try" to find out.

Any expert help would be appreciated. Even finding a few links would make this wearable.

This post has some of the best photos to see the bracelet. (Thanks to original poster btw.)

Best confirm that it's the correct bracelet for your watch
Exactly, as the 230.006 has no endlinks, but is attached with the middle of the bracelet straight to the case by a pin, so I wonder what those endlinks are for in the pictures. The reference number on the clasp of my 230.006 TAG Heuer Pilot is by the way: 348/31.

Thanks for the help so far!!! All leads are good on projects like these.

Not too sure if the bracelet is the correct one. Sure looks close though.

I have not seen a TAG Pilot in quite a while, but I'm thinking that the series 2 mentioned in the add is dependent on the endlinks matching up to a 20mm mount. The 230.006 starts at 23/24mm and tapers all the way to 17mm.

The next question is maybe tracking down a link or two for the bracelet I have. I'm wondering if the half-moon links would work that were found on other Heuer bracelets (ie 2000) would fit from around the same time period? I do occasionally see links that look right that are at 17mm where the clasp is 3xx/31. Seems the /31 is pretty constant.
