Dear community,

I'm new here and I would like to have your insights on a question: I have seen a vintage Heuer Montréal with a Caliber 11.

It will help me decide wheter I should buy it or not as it is beautiful!

Thanks a lot for your feedbacks!

A lot depends on the price and condition, but if those are both good and you love it, then I'd say "yes".

I thought Montreals only came with Calibre 12 movements?

How you feel about it is the main thing.

Have you seen all the information here: https://www.calibre11.com/heuer-montreal/ ?

In that article the originality of the case is deemed most important, dials and hands are easier to find than good cases. And if you do get it we would all like to see photos!

Certainly more usual with the Calibre 12- Montreal was launched in 1972. But we do see the Calibre 11 and 11-i being used into the early 1970s

Thanks for the correction. It's never simple with old Heuers is it?

Exactly. Pretty sure I've seen a Silverstone with a Calibre 11...and that's from 1974
