Heuer clasp for 19mm Camaro

Hi,
I just purchased a Camaro on Chrono24. should have it next week.
Now I'd like to get a Heuer deployment buckle/clasp.
I see the reissued Carrera came with one, but it's 18mm.

Does anyone know of a deployment buckle/clasp in 19mm?
Also looking for brown leather 'racing' strap.

Do you mean a deployant/deployment clasp, or a buckle? I'm going to assume the latter, i.e. this sort of thing:

19mm would be the width at the lugs, not the buckle. The strap tapers so you need to know if it's 16mm or 18mm at the buckle. I suspect 16mm for a 19mm strap, in which case the Carrera reissue one should work.

Not the simple buckle. wanting deploying clasp. seems like most straps taper in 2mm. I did find a few 19mm/Lug 16mm/buckle, but ONLY a few. What about fitting an 18mm strap, instead of 19mm? How noticeable would that 1mm difference be? any issues with it sliding around on the pin? 18mm is much easier to find.

The 18mm reissue Carrera did not come with a deployant clasp, it came with a buckle. But the later CV series of reissues came with one. You might be better off squeezing in the 20/18mm strap from that watch. Generally speaking you should never go smaller with a strap but 1mm bugger can usually work.

Don’t go smaller on a strap as it will annoy you and as @imagwai says always go bigger if you have to.

There’s a number of deployment straps on Watchgecko that will fit the bill and are 19mm tapering to 18mm. I think if you look it will also tell you which deployment clasp from TH it’s suitable for use with.
